The Julius Kühn-Institute, Institute for Grapevine Breeding Geilweilerhof is proud to host the XIII. International Symposium on Grapevine Breeding and Genetics from July 10 – 17, 2022 in Landau/Pfalz, Germany. All contributions, pre- and post-symposium, are to be submitted and managed through this website. Please read in detail below, what applies for abstracts, proceedings and posters. Information on the conference itself can be found on the Symposium Website.
the deadline for submission of abstracts has ended.
The abstracts will be published online in the Julius-Kühn-Archive under a CC-BY 4.0 license at the day of the conference. A limited number of printed copies will be available to conference attendees. Please read all details before submission carefully and use the supplied file template.

Attendees, who were selected to give a talk at the conference, are also invited to submit a more detailed research article on the topic they presented. Those articles will undergo peer-review. Successful articles will be published Open Access under a CC-BY 4.0 license in a 2023 Special Issue of VITIS - Journal of Grapevine Research free of charge.

Please note: The submitted poster is not printed by the event organiser, attendees are requested to bring their poster printed out to the conference site.
Attendees, who presented a poster at the conference, are invited to have their poster published online under a CC-BY 4.0 license in the repository OpenAgrar. Those posters will be long-term archived and linked to the abstract book of the conference.
