This is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the reader or his/her institution. Full texts of articles can be accessed without registration.

Beginning with Volume 92 (2019), a Creative Commmons Attribution 4.0 License applies to all journal content. Any user is free to share and adapt (remix, transform, build upon) the content as long as the original publication is attributed (authors, title, year, journal, issue, pages). For articles published between 2013 and 2018 (volumes 86-91) a more restrictive Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 License applies. We do not prohibit or charge a fee for reuse of published content. The use of general descriptive names, trade names, trademarks, and so forth in this publication, even if not specifically identified, does not imply that these names are not protected by the relevant laws and regulations.

The submitting author is asked to agree to this license during the online submission process on behalf of all coauthors. Please be aware that this license cannot be revoked. A license and copyright mark is included in each article and licensing information is transmitted for registration of the Digital Object Identifier (DOI).

The copyright of the published work remains with the authors. If you want to use published content beyond what the Creative Commons licenses permits, please contact the corresponding author, whose contact information can be found on the last page of the respective article.
