A high number of diseases and pests affect the cultivation of faba beans, peas, lupins, and clover and the yields of them. The growing of leguminous crops and the establishing of its stocks are determined through the competition by mono- and dicotyled weeds and the growth of unwanted plants of cereals, rapes or grasses also. At present, many plant protection products are lacking authorisation to be used in leguminous crops for the control of important diseases, pests and weeds or for the desiccation.
