Development and marketing of biological plant protection products from an entrepreneur’s point of view

Biocontrol agents, registrationAbstract
Companies active in biocontrol are confronted with high registration hurdles. These are out of proportion to the size of the market niches for the often highly specific products used in biocontrol. If biocontrol should be encouraged, registration hurdles need to be reduced and/or the registration of biocontrol products has to be subsidised.
