Abstract

In June 2009 the occurrence of the rust fungus Aecidium atragenes was first reported on artificial hybrids of Clematis spp. This report is the first since the finding of this rust fungus by N.I. Kusnezow in the year 1886 on Atragene alpina var. sibirica.
