The success of biological pest control is dependent on the timely delivery of effective beneficials and their correct use. Therefore, the timing of culturing and the maintenance of a high potential population in culture is very important. The quality of the beneficials can be reduced if the routes of transport are very long and the conditions on transport are bad. This can sometimes be the reason for failure. In general, biological pest control works well in greenhouses where professional advisors are present.
