The introduction of biocontol measures in organic fruit growing is realized in close cooperation between farmers, extension and research. Interested farmers are included very early in the development and the test of the reliability of the efficacy of the different measures. Strategies for resistance management should rely on a well-balanced combination of direct and indirect control measures.
