First report of <em>Lactuca serriola</em> as weed host of <em>Septoria birgitae</em>, a pathogen of butterhead lettuce

This is the first report of Septoria birgitae Bedlan on Lactuca serriola. Septoria birgitae as a pathogen of butterhead lettuce was first described 1999 on this host (Bedlan, 1999).
