Since fall 2016, the newly formed Civic Platform “Wildtiere in Bayern” (short: WilTiB) offers groups of farmers and hunters for the first time the possibility to work together on a neutral and secure online platform. Current news about wildlife observation, shot animals or damages on agricultural areas are visible for everyone in a map interface, allowing transparent and equitable discussions. Jointly collected data facilitate regional wild life management that can develop devoid of the interests of others and is located in the hands of the participants.
