News from the Journal of Applied Botany and Food Quality

Dear readers, authors, reviewers and fellow editors,

Time flies and half of 2023 is almost done. Time for a small update on the Journal of Applied Botany and Food Quality!

Last year, we published 22 original research articles (read full issue at https://ojs.openagrar.de/index.php/JABFQ/issue/view/2453) from a total of 120 submitted manuscripts. Several submissions are still in revision.

The brand new impact factor (Clarivate, Web of Science) is 1.2, putting the journal into the 3^rd Journal Impact Factor Quartile. The Scopus CiteScore improved to 3.1, ranking the journal in the 2^nd Quartile, thus, better than 62 % of the other journals in the category plant science. A big thank you to our authors, whose quality content made this possible!
