News from the Journal of Applied Botany and Food Quality

Dear readers, authors, reviewers and fellow editors,

Time flies and half of 2023 is almost done. Time for a small update on the Journal of Applied Botany and Food Quality!

Last year, we published 22 original research articles (read full issue at https://ojs.openagrar.de/index.php/JABFQ/issue/view/2453) from a total of 120 submitted manuscripts. Several submissions are still in revision.

The brand new impact factor (Clarivate, Web of Science) is 1.2, putting the journal into the 3rd Journal Impact Factor Quartile. The Scopus CiteScore improved to 3.1, ranking the journal in the 2nd Quartile, thus, better than 62 % of the other journals in the category plant science. A big thank you to our authors, whose quality content made this possible!
